About

Niki Hjort, born 1998, is a comic artist from Sweden. She grew up reading Japanese manga, which is where her big passion for comics began. 
She loves to create dreamlike stories with a major focus on emotions and relationships. 
She has previously studied comic art in school and been a part of a generous amount of fanzines (self published magazines), anthologies, contests and exhibitions over the years. She has over 10 years of experience with both traditional and digital art, as well as graphic design. You'll often find her among the sellers booths at comic related art events all around Sweden. 
In June 2022 she published her debutbook Howlglint. She did everything from writing, drawing, assembling and publishing, all on her own.
